SAREX 2007 - Kimberly BC

Two members from RSAR attended the SE regional SAREX in late June.

A wonderful event that lasted 2-1/2 days was a great opportunity to get together and exchange ides, learn new techniques, and meet lots of people.

The first evening was a social event, Day 2 was a full scale scenario, and day three was more specialized, with the group breaking up into smaller teams to do Rope Rescue, Navigation, and Swiftwater Rescue training...

Lost and Found.. Kootenay Style!

RSAR member Robin B. goes over the edge while CSAR member JM Savoie looks after the edge person duties.

It's not glamorous, but grunt work makes a rescue run smoothly, getting the right gear to the right place at the right time!
