Avalanche Awareness Days
A co-production of many people including the CAA, Red Mountain Resort, Beaver Valley SAR, and Rossland & District SAR...
Next Saturday, all day, at the base of Red Mountain, there will be beacon demos, races, information, education etc...
If you are a SAR volunteer, please come out to help. We are starting to setup at 0800, and will need people all day to man the tent etc. Bring your touring pack if you have it.
If you are curious to come and learn, or try out various beacon models, or simply show off your most honed beacon search skills (see post two down) then drop by any time on Saturday, January 13th.
