Avalanche Awareness Days

This weekend it's time to come out and get involved in avalanche safety.

Rossland & District SAR, along with the Canadian Avalanche Centre, Canadian Pacific, and Red Resort are presenting the annual Avalanche Awareness Days at Red Mountain.

There will be Beacon races, educational exercises and demos, a fun relay race, and prizes prizes prizes! Come by in the afternoon to check out the poster contest entries.

Come visit us at the RSAR trailer next to the yurt at the Red Mountain base area this Saturday from 830 AM to closing. Be sure to show up early for the best chance at winning some sweet prizes!
